Traditional Marriage in tribal procession Tolaki

Traditional wedding procession always draw attention to behold. One is the traditional wedding Tolaki tribe in Southeast Sulawesi, which was named Mowindahako.

Mondotambe Dance is a dance to welcome the groom's entourage before entering the residence of the bride. This dance is a dance of welcome for the guest of honor.

After passing procession Mondotambe dance, the groom's party to open a stretch of gloves. Gloves that can be opened only after the groom's guardianship to give compensation to the woman.

Wedding procession or Mowindahako begins with a prepared Salopa or additional custom offerings, such as the betel, areca nut, tobacco and some other dish.

Kabul final offer also included in this wedding procession. The series is completed when the groom's procession to the cancellation of ablution. End closed with a dance party Lulo. Both bride and invitations were holding hands to tighten the brotherhood.

But along with the times, customs Mowindahako becoming obsolete. Even some procession which was replaced, but has the same meaning.
